The murder of Takeoff shocked and stunned Hip-Hop fans and artists. The Atlanta rapper was killed in the early hours of Nov. 1 in Houston after an argument in a bowling alley, according to reports, and notables have been sharing their thoughts on the late star. During his latest Drip Report, Harlem's Jim Jones spoke about Takeoff's legacy and spoke about his talent.

“Their contributions to Hip Hop will never be duplicated,” Jones said. “From the rap flows, to the cadence that they added to this game—and all the spices we see all the kids been trying to emulate. Takeoff was a special person out of that bunch, and you can tell from every record that he was on.”

He continued: “The great Takeoff—you will never, ever be forgotten. You left a mark that no one will ever forget, my friend.”
