Stetsasonic has returned with the single "Fallen Soldiers," in homage to those that we've lost in Hip-Hop throughout the years.
The song, which uses an interpolation of "Come Together" by The Beatles, eulogizes Hip-Hop giants such as Keith Cowboy of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5, Eazy E, J Dilla, Prodigy and Guru of Gang Starr. More recent losses like PNB Rock, Young Dolph and Pop Smoke were also memorialized in the song, which is produced and distributed through ODad truth Records and the SpitSLAM Label Group.
"Stetsasonic was already working on the song 'Fallen Soldiers' when I got the news from my drummer Bobby Simmons about Takeoff of the Migos," Stet frontman Daddy-O said. "We gonna embark on a mission to turn some of this stuff around."
