Rick Ross and Kem have linked up for the visual to "Right On Time," featured on Kem's most recent release, the 5-track EP, Full Circle.
The video is mostly black-and-white, with spontaneous pops of color (Kem and Ross' jewelry is bright colored, as is Ross' fresh red suit), while they kick it on "Kemistry Avenue" and "Boss Lane" respectively. The mid-temp groove falls easily into both of their lanes, as Kem croons about loving his woman, stamped of course, with his signature "mmmm, gurls." Ross is no stranger to putting on his grown man hat and linking with R&B and soul singers. His list of collaborations is long, including a few songs with John Legend and features with Erykah Badu, Chrisette Michele, and Jazmine Sullivan among a host of others.
Come November, Ross will be showcasing more of his versatility with a performance at Atlanta Symphony Hall with Orchestra Noir, an award-winning all-Black symphony. The event is the U.S. debut of Red Bull Music Academy's Red Bull Symphonic initiative.
“From the Biggest Boss I’m going to make sure I give y’all an unforgettable and one night only performance,” the rapper said in a press release. “Red Bull Symphonic is helping us celebrate heritage, musicians, and more importantly Black excellence. We gonna innovate big that night.”
