Pusha T Reveals Upcoming Album Title

Pusha T has officially announced the title of his upcoming fourth studio album. On Wednesday (April 6), the Virginia Beach emcee took to Twitter to reveal his forthcoming studio effort is called It’s Almost Dry.

The former Clipse member hinted at the album’s title during a recent interview with Complex’s Speedy Morman. Push explained the title references his album as if it were a painting, saying it is so fresh that the paint is “not dry yet.”

“'It’s almost dry' means a couple of things to me. It mostly speaks to a masterpiece. This is a masterpiece, this is art that I’m creating.” Push explains. “When somebody’s creating art, and [a client] is waiting on an art piece, the artist usually tells them, ‘it’s not dry yet,’ before they unveil it.”

Additionally, King Push announced he will be heading on a North American tour this summer, aptly titled the It’s Almost Dry Tour.  “Album title: IT’S ALMOST DRY,” he tweeted. “Phase one of the tour coming to a city near you… TIX GO ON SALE FRIDAY 4/8.”

The opening leg of Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry Tour kicks off in Seattle, Washington, on May 29 and ends in Philadelphia on June 23. He’ll sweep through cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Atlanta along the way.

After dropping the Kanye West and 88-Keys-assisted single, “Diet Coke,” earlier this year, Pusha T continued his It’s Almost Dry rollout on Wednesday with the release of his latest single, “Neck & Wrist,” featuring JAY-Z and Pharrell.

Push and Hov’s second collaboration following 2016’s “Drug Dealers Anonymous,” the track finds the emcees trading coke rap bars and over some cinematic production from Skateboard P.

With frequent collaborators, Kanye West and Pharrell Williams splitting the project’s production duties between each other, Pusha T is confident It’s Almost Dry will be an album of the year contender for 2022.
