Omaha, Nebraska emcee King Iso has made it his business to offer full transparency through his music, staring down his demons head-on as he tackles themes of self-doubt, depression, anxiety, and mental illness while delivering a spirited performance with each 16.

King Iso’s mission is to be a beacon of light to those going through their darkest times. His latest album, Get Well Soon, is just that. An autobiographical work that dives deep into the psyche of hurt and tormented soul. Iso holds nothing back, recounting his harrowing yet hypnotic life story, chronicling his journey from rock bottom to hard-earned triumph.

Today (June 1), exclusively on Rock the Bells,  King Iso returns to premiere the next single and music video to his Strange Music debut. “6PM” featuring Taebo Tha Truth. In the chilling music video, Iso attends a court-mandated group therapy session, hanging his head low in shame before delivering a barrage of confessional, corrosive, and inspirational rhymes.

“It’s a big plan of mine to break down these barriers and walls that they block for people like us in Black America,” Iso explains in an interview with Rock the Bells. “It’s like taboo damn near. So, if it’s anything I can do, that I can die with a smile on my face, I want to help reshape and reshift how we in Black America and Black culture to talk about our mental health.”

Later this week, Iso sets off on his first major headlining tour, kicking things off on June 2 in his home state of Nebraska. Iso will canvas the midwest before ending with a bang at the Emerson Theater in Indianapolis, In on June 18.

Be sure to check out Rock the Bell’s exclusive premiere of King Iso’s “6PM” and be on the lookout for more music from the promising mid-west emcee. King Iso is a force to be reckoned with on the mic and is, without a doubt, next up.
