Mystic, "Still Love" Video

Mystic has shared a new music video, "Still (Love)," featuring Bay Area legend Ray Luv from her most recent project, Dreaming in Cursive: The Girl Who Loved Sparklers. The video is the second release in a three-part series that will encompass a short film A Black Love Trilogy. "This is my heal Black woman music," she told Rock The Bells of the project last year. "This is the first album that I have made that is not grounded in trauma. This is my healed music." Black Thought + El Michels Affair, Glorious Game

Black Thought and El Michels Affair (helmed by Leon Michels) teamed up for a collaborative album, Glorious Game. The project has been years in the making— they met in the early 2000s but began working together in recent years. Three singles were dropped prior to the release — "Glorious Game," "That Girl," and "Grateful." "Glorious Game," the most recent release from the project, featuring Kirby is propped up by a robust, liquid bass line that rolls smoothly alongside Black Thought's delivery, which is confident as ever.
