Nas has been doing some of the best work of his long career with Hit-Boy, including two previous King's Disease projects that dropped in 2020 and 2021 respectively, and last year's stellar surprise album, Magic. “He’s like my Quincy [Jones], you know what I mean?” he told Ebro Darden in an interview with Apple Music.
Both the first and second King’s Disease projects were nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys, with the first album winning.
In addition to dropping new music, Nas is up for a Soul Train Award this year — he was nominated for his appearance with PJ Morton and Stevie Wonder on "Be Like Water." The awards air this Sunday (Nov. 13) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET and BET Her.
