Hip-Hop icon LL COOL J is set to receive the Entertainment Icon Award at this year's Urban One Honors.

The awards show, which will be hosted by Tank, celebrates the accomplishments of individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in entertainment, media, music, education, and the community.

This year's theme is “Celebrating Icons of the Culture" and in addition to recognizing the achievements of LL COOL J, the ceremony will also feature a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop with DJ Spinderella, Monie Love and Doug E. Fresh.

The two-hour telecast premieres Monday, January 16, 2023, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, on TV One and Cleo TV.
