Little Brother Drops The Trailer For Their "May The Lord Watch" Documentary

Fans of Little Brother are excited after a big announcement from the North Carolina duo. On Wednesday (March 30), LB member Phonte took to Instagram with a post revealing the official trailer to the upcoming documentary, May The Lord Watch: The Little Brother Story.

The trailer opens with dialogue from the rapper reflecting on the group’s journey, and wanting to get their story out. The clip then shows various behind-the-scenes footage from concerts and commentary from artists such as Questlove, Drake, and Doja Cat speaking about their appreciation for the iconic underground group.

The documentary is set for a 2023 release date, Phonte confirmed it will coincide with the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album, The Listening

The album introduced the world to the underground rap trio that would go on to release four more beloved albums and six mixtapes. Their last album, May The Lord Watch, arrived in 2019, debuting at No. 11 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart.
