On Tuesday February 22nd KRS-One dropped his 24th studio album IMAMCRU12. “This is an emcees album with 14 amazingly produced songs," an official statement on the rap legend's IG page reads.
The album boasts production from SUN One and KPrhyme; while tracks “Krazy”, “Knock ‘Em Out” and “Have To Wait” were previously released and were featured in the short film Save The Studio. The Teacha said on his Instagram page that he has no plans of retiring anytime soon, and that a tour is coming soon to support the new album.
In October of last year KRS faced off against Big Daddy Kane in a Verzuz competition where he called out other emcees proclaiming that no one wanted to challenge him in battle. The 35th anniversary of Boogie Down Productions genre changing debut album Criminal Minded is next week (3/3). Check out the new album above.
