Cudi and Barker have been friends for years, and have worked on music together several times, including back in 2011 when they collaborated on Barker's song "Cool Head" from his album, Give the Drummer Some.
Barker, 46, was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday, where photos showed him strapped to a stretcher with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, by his side. Back in 2018, the drummer was hospitalized with blood clots in his arms, though it hasn't yet been reported why he was hospitalized this time.
TMZ reports Barker and Kardashian first showed up at West Hills hospital Tuesday morning before he was transferred by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Barker's daughter, 16-year-old Alabama asked for prayers on Instagram. Barker tweeted "God Save Me" yesterday, the name of his song with Machine Gun Kelly, who his son, Landon, was performing with yesterday.
