Social media was abuzz on Monday (7/25) over an image of Chris Rock, Kevin Hart and Dave Chappelle on stage with a live goat. Th picture was from Kevin Hart and Chris Rock's sold-out Madison Square Garden performance where Dave Chappelle was a surprise guest. Kevin Hart spoke to talk show host Jimmy Fallon on Monday night about how and why he got the goat and snuck it into Madison Square Garden.

"I was like Chris [Rock], we should do some shows together how about we just do New York and Jersey together and Chris was like cool," Hart explained. "I told Chris that if we do it, Chappelle is gonna come out and it'll be the best night ever."

Kevin then told Dave that he planned to gift Chris a goat.

"I hid the goat from Chris, but Dave knew about it and we we came back out on stage and we said goodnight ... you guys don't know Chris is a mentor, friend, and inspiration, and he is a large part of the reason why I'm where I am today. He's my G.O.A.T.," he explained further. "I gave him the goat and said [to the audience], please give my guy his flowers. And they stood up and screamed — he almost cried. It was a real moment."

Kevin then points to Questlove, who plays in Jimmy Fallon's house band.

"The goat took a shit on stage," he said. "It's the one thing that I didn't think about. In my mind, the goat would come out and do a tight two minutes, but he shit on Chris' shoes."
