The historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado recently announced (2/2) that Ice Cube, E-40, Cypress Hill and Too $hort will rock this year’s 420 On the Rocks. 420 On The Rocks is a smoked filled gala for those who celebrate the unofficial cannabis holiday of April 20th. This year’s show, presented by ARG Live and Cervantes Masterpiece is scheduled to take place on April 19th , the eve of the holiday, just 17 miles away from Denver in Morrison.

Red Rocks has hosted 420 On The Rocks events in previous years, with everyone from Redman and Method Man to Action Bronson headlining. Method Man spoke about his 420 On The Rocks experience and the effect that Redman had on his performance with Hip Hop DX.

“I never told anybody this, but my shows were so chaotic. I was in the crowd for most of my show doing ridiculous shit trying to get a vice. As soon as I started performing with this man (points to Redman) he reeled me in."

Owned and operated by the city of Denver, the concert venue at Red Rocks Park has been home to some of the most iconic concerts in history, from artists such as The Beatles, U2 and Sting.
