Hit-Boy Freestyles Over the 'Stillmatic' Intro

Hit Boy appeared on the Bootleg Kev Podcast earlier this week and freestyled over "Stillmatic (Intro)" by Nas. The track is from the Queensbridge legend's 2001 album of the same name, and, for Hit-Boy, it's a bit of a full circle moment. The hitmaker has been producer of so many recent successful albums from Nas, including the Grammy-winning King's Disease, Kings Disease II and Magic. And Hit-Boy has a history on the mic device, having released a solo project HITstory in 2012, in addition to Tony Fontana and The Chauncey Hills Project.

"It's Surf Club HS 87, FL Studio still my choice of weapons/Niggas think its sweet 'cus I got nominations and some Grammy's tryin' hard to sleep through the turbulent landing," Hit Boy spits.

Check the entire freestyle below.

Hit-Boy is credited for breathing life into Nas' career via their previously mentioned collaborations. Of course, the famed producer has helmed countless hits for other superstars; including "Niggas In Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West and "Racks In The Middle" by Nipsey Hussle. Hit-Boy has produced hits for Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean. The Game recently announced that his highly anticipated new album Drillmatic is produced by Hit-Boy as well even comparing himself and Hit's chemistry to that of Jay-Z and Just Blaze.
