The 10th annual Hiero Day Festival hosted by legendary Hip-Hop crew, Hieroglyphics, returns to Oakland California over Labor Day weekend with a host of special guests including Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Marco Polo, Keyshia Cole, and many more.

The event will be hosted by Chris Riggins, Chuy Gomez, Cuzzin Dre, D Nas and L- Deez. Tajai of Souls of Mischief recently told HipHopDX that he was looking forward to the diversity of entertainment.

"Hiero Day is always a combination of local and national talent from different genres, though remaining Hip-Hop centric," he explained. "Plus we have some awesome up-and-coming acts like Jane Handcock, Lil Kayla, LaRussell, Hiero imperium signee Lzgit and Tyler Lauren on the bill. We love the fact that out curation makes it possible for people of all walks of life and lovers of all styles of music to be able to enjoy themselves and be exposed to the classics plus new music."

Tajai also said that Akira's Book Club kids area will also provide plenty of kid-friendly activities as well as a skating rink and an NFT experience. Previous Hiero Day events have featured Anderson .Paak and Black Thought, Too $hort, DJ Quik, The Pharcyde, Yo Yo, Lil B, Bun B, Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, dead prez, and Just Blaze.

Tajai said they're excited about continuing the event for the 10th anniversary. "Overall, we are extremely happy to be back outside for the biggest Hip-Hop festival in Oakland and able to provide great end-of-summer vibes for the city that has given us so much."
