Flash protege and legendary turntablist Grand Wizzard Theodore, assistant EZ Mike and Rahiem of the Furious Five assist in telling the story of the man who Rahiem says is "the reason why turntables outsell guitars three-to-one." The last half of the episode discusses Flash and his group, The Furious 5, and their rise from 23 Park in the Bronx to international fame as recording artists. It also details the group's breakup and a descent into drugs, which almost killed Flash.
"I had to find a way to start over, to jump back in," Flash shared. The Bronx native revealed that drugs put him into a coma that almost took his life. "But God said 'not yet.'"
