Freddie Gibbs has recruited Jadakiss on his latest single, “Black Illuminati,” accompanied by a JMP directed music video.
The music video finds the duo rapping in a lavish estate and driving lavish whips as the two rap about their journeys from rags to riches in this track about hip-hop opulence. “They want to take me out this game like Sha’Carri / Black Illuminati, touch big rabbits, streets need a body,” Gibbs raps.
The new single is the first time the two rappers have appeared on a song together since Gibbs’ 2012 track “Krazy” with Jay Rock.
The track is the lead single to Freddie Gibbs’ upcoming studio album, SSS aka Soul Sold Separately, which is yet to receive a release date. Stay tuned for more news on this and other classic hip-hop news.
