Eminem's 2002 blockbuster, 8 Mile, just celebrated its 20th anniversary, and now the movie's soundtrack is officially six-times platinum.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the album has now sold over six million units in the United States since its release in October 2002 and went 4x platinum in January 2003 (the date of it going 5x platinum was not listed). A deluxe edition of the soundtrack was released last month in celebration of the film's anniversary.

Eminem was also inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, and the superstar rapper from Detroit joined fellow legends in the Hall's prestigious 2022 class; which included country icon Dolly Parton, chart-topper Lionel Richie, 80s pop quintet Duran Duran, rock queen Pat Benatar, metal gods Judas Priest, singer-songwriter Carly Simon, synth pop innovators Eurythmics, hitmaking production duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and the late founder of Sugar Hill Records, Sylvia Robinson.

During his speech, he listed all of his Hip-Hop heroes from A-Z, drawing appreciation from his rap peers.
