The most recent Verzuz battle between Three 6 Mafia and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony got a little heated when Bizzy Bone felt he was being mocked by his triplet rapping counterparts, which led to a brief scuffle on the Verzuz stage in Los Angeles on December 3. 

Three 6 Mafia’s Crunchy Black sat down for an interview with VladTV this week and hypothesized that Bizzy Bone threw the bottle to kick off the fight because he felt Bone Thugs were losing the battle. 

“Bizzy Bone got frustrated and mad after the fourth song was played because in real life we was killing them. They kinda set it up and everybody was riding with them but at the same time, ‘Why was they doing this?’ Because Three 6 Mafia got hits and they crunk hits…. Just because you were signed to Eazy, don’t mean it’s gonna be easy.’

However, Crunchy Black did refer to the Ohio-bred Hip Hop legends as “family now.”

“Juicy was just trying to keep a positive vibe. But you gotta think when the boss is trying to keep a positive vibe, the goons is still ready to rumble.”
