Houston vets Cory Mo, Bun B, Devin The Dude, and singer Mattie B linked for a new video "Feel Good" from Cory and Bun's joint album, Mo Trill, which dropped earlier this year.
In the video, producer Cory Mo, Bun and Devin link up at a backyard barbecue, where they kick it with family and friends over a card game and what looks like some "feel good" green (which Devin comically buries his entire face in), as Matti sings the catchy-country hook, complemented by friendly guitar liks.
Cory, who's long worked with both Devin and Bun B, recently spoke with Talib Kweli on People's Party about UGK's legacy and how he first linked with them.
"Really it goes back to my brother Mike Mo," Cory said. "He ended up buying Pimp C's Cadillac and after .... they got real cool. I must've sent him so many wack ass beats from '94 to '99, and he'd always be like, 'Nah man, put a little more sauce on that, man.' So finally it was a one beat I did, he loved that beat so much, and from that point on, he didn't record with nobody else."
