On November 12th, 2022 the world’s best B-Boys and B-Girls will gather in the birthplace of the dance – New York City to compete for the world champion crown. The Red Bull BC One World Final takes place at the Hammerstein Ballroom and according to the Red Bull website, there will be more than 60 qualifier events hosted across 30 countries and a line up of 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls. Red Bull BC One All-Star Neguin told Vibe Magazine: “The energy of New York is incomparable to any in the world. As the city that’s given us so much from Hip Hop to the break, its influence has reached new heights as breaking takes on a new global stage with the upcoming Paris games.”

Breaking is set to make its debut at the Paris summer games in 2024. Moises Rivas who dances under the name Moy told the Washington Post: “Most of us knew that this could be bygone day. We just didn’t know how it would happen. It always had a path We just had to deal with the misconceptions, negative connotations and who didn’t want to give it the credit that it really deserves.”

Red Bull BC One is the biggest and most prestigious one-on-one break-dancing competition in the world with 17 World Finals hosted in major cities around the world since 2004. Red Bull BC One has over 60 qualifier events and programs (cyphers and camps) in over 30 locations.
