The daughters of late Hip-Hop legends The Notorious B.I.G. and Jam-Master Jay are joining forces in the world of business. 28 year-old Tyra Myricks and 27 year-old Tyanna Wallace have opened a New York-style pizzeria in Los Angeles. The two entrepreneurs held the grand opening for Juicy Pizza on Saturday, June 11.

“I realized that LA doesn’t have good NY style pizza,” Myricks wrote on Instagram back in February.”So instead of going on an endless hunt for some I decided to make some!”

The pizzeria is located at 615 N. La Brea Avenue in the Fairfax/Hollywood area named after Wallace's dad's iconic 1994 hit "Juicy."

The two women have built reputations for entrepreneurial endeavors and expansive careers. Myricks has been head designer of Drake’s OVO clothing line, launched her own line WEALTH, and founded The Method, L.A.'s first Black-owned fitness facility; Wallace, who graduated from Penn State with a degree in business in 2015, launched her own NOTORIOUSS clothing line and Brooklyn boutique.

“My dad is really stylish, he actually started his own clothing line before he passed away, called Brooklyn Mint,” Wallace told Bushwick Daily in 2019. “People don’t know that side of him, he could also draw. I got the artistic side of him, not the music side.”
