Above The Law And NWA Producer Laylaw Goodman Has Died

Daz Dillinger of Tha Dogg Pound announced on his IG earlier today (1/12) that Laylaw Goodman , producer of NWA and Above The Law has died.

His caption read: "FROM THE NWA ABOVE THE LAW DAYZ TIL NOW I APPRECIATE THE CONVO & HISTORY LESSON ON THIS WESTCOAST MOVEMENT YALL CREATED."

Laylaw was also the founder and CEO of Lawhouse Records and multimedia. Law was responsible for "Monster Rappin'"/"Wolfin'" and "What's Your Name" from 1985 and 1986 on his own Rolex Records imprint with Macola records, but his name gained wider recognition as producer of Above the Law's classic debut album Livin' Like Hustlers. He has also worked with NWA and 2Pac.

No cause of death has been announced.
