On a recent Hot 97 interview rapper turned mogul 50 Cent revealed Nas' influence on him and said that he has no issues with him, despite the fact many fans thought that they had beef at the height on New York rap.

While speaking on Nas executive producing Showtime's recent Supreme Team documentary, he says, "When he does the Supreme Team docuseries, I know that's about his fascination with them being God-body. That part of it is what connects him to their experience. That's what makes me feel like I don't have to get at him for even doing it."

He went on to speak about Nas as an MC and the influence that he had on a generation. "I love Nas," he said. "He's really the one. He's the guy, the lyrical ... when we were figuring out how to do it. We were doing shit that we weren't supposed to do, while he doing the music. By the time that we figured out how to put it into the music correctly, is when my run is happening."

Nas shows no signs of slowing down, as he announced last week in an IG post the November release of the third installment in his Kings Disease series. The post is simply captioned with the 11/11 release date with an image of three gold bars inscribed with KD3. The Queensbridge MC hinted at a new installment on last year's surprise project Magic when he spits, "I'm on offense every day until I see the love/KD3 on the way just to feed the buzz."

The first installment of King's Disease was released in 2020 with features from Big Sean, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and Anderson Paak. The project was Nas' thirteenth studio album. King's Disease also earned Nas his first Grammy Award at the 2021 Grammy Awards beating out D Smoke, Freddie Gibbs, Jay Electronica, and Royce Da 5'9". Kings Disease II was released in August of 2021 and featured appearances by Eminem, EPMD, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Charlie Wilson, Lauryn Hill, and YG.
