A$AP Ferg and The Neptunes Release New Single "Green Juice"

By Kiani Belgrave

A$AP Ferg has recruited The Neptunes, Chad Hugo, and Pharrell Williams, for his latest single, “Green Juice.” The new track is accompanied by a psychedelic music video directed by Valentin Petit, who previously worked with Ferg on the visuals for his 2019 single, “Floor Seats.”

It is rumored that The Neptunes will hold down the production for Ferg’s entire forthcoming project, completing a full circle moment as the Harlem emcee is a longtime Neptunes Stan. Earlier this month, Ferg and Pharrell posed in an Instagram post by Ferg captioned, "Stay tuned."

Last week, Ferg announced that he signed a management deal with Roc Nation while confirming he will officially be dropping the “A$AP” from his name, continuing with the mononym “Ferg.”

In a statement to Variety, Roc Nation said, “Ferg is very much still part of the Mob, and is A$AP Ferg within A$AP Mob…. Ferg as an individual artist and with his solo career is Ferg.” Check out the music video for “Green Juice,” and stay tuned for more hip-hop news.
